Aerodynamics Lab

　Yokohama National University (YNU) Aerodynamics Lab (or Kitamura's Group) was launched in 2014.
　The research topics are categorized into the following three (although they are closely related to each other).

• Numerical Methods of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), that contribute to both academics and industries.
• Aerodynamic Analyses on vehicles using CFD.
• Windtunnel Experiments on vehicles, in which validation data are provided for CFD.

Advisor

　Associate Professor Keiichi KITAMURA received his Doctor of Engineering from Nagoya University, Japan, in 2008. After postdoc experiences at JAXA and NASA Glenn Research Center, and Assistant Professor at Nagoya University, he launched this lab in 2014. For details, please see the following links.
